Over the past 2 and a half years since I've brought Basil home, I've become unbelievably sensitive.
Before him, I was quite cold. My family often commented about
my lack of sensitivity. Now, I will cry at just about anything sad. If it's about a dog,
I will most definitely cry. Amazing how having a dog can change you as a person.

Numbers
This is kind of strange, but I wonder if anyone else is like this. I'm sure I can't be the only one.
When it comes to setting numbers on microwave ovens or alarm clocks, I can't seem to let
the numbers end at 00, 15, 30, or 45. I just can't. I have to set it ending in 03, 12, 18, 43,
or 57 - anything but the original four mentioned above. If I use the quick setting on
microwaves, I'll end the session before it beeps, usually at 3 seconds left to go. I can't put my
finger on it as to why this is, but I do know in past experiences where say I've woken up to
an alarm ringing at exactly 8:00 AM or 7:30 AM, I felt so irritated, the start to my day just felt
ruined. I know, this is so weird. I don't understand where this comes from.

ChefSteps
Watched this video right before bed, and I've never been more excited for the next day.
Love their videos.

Of all my friends, my friendship with Jane is the oldest. We've known each
other for about 13 years now. We've had our ups and downs, but we're still good
friends to this day. So many memories with this one. I got to visit her apartment
this weekend and just hang out. We went everywhere actually. Nowhere crazy,
but it was still so much fun. We ate lunch at Cafe Gratitude in Venice, had dessert
at B Sweet, stopped by Third Street Promenade (yes, on a Saturday...eek), grabbed
a quick pick me up drink at Urth, bought some snacks at Whole Foods, and rented
Lucy at a redbox. Lucy was fun at first, but then it just started getting weirder
and weirder. I think we were more amused by the real Korean that was being spoken
by actual Korean people and not a random Asian passing as a Korean person.

Postmodern Jukebox
As someone who does not listen to radio music, I can very much listen to all of
Postmodern Jukebox's covers. Jazz and blues are my favorite genres of music,
so their playful covers speak my language to a T.
